i.  Please visit the Photoshop.com home page, http://www.photoshop.com/.

ii.  Mouse over the "Online Tools" tab and click the "Photoshop Express Editor" button from the pull down menu.

iii.  Click the “UPLOAD PHOTO” button.

iv.  Click "Upload".

 

then select an image from the "Images” folder and then click the "Open" button.

v.  In the Edit mode, click the "Resize" button first, then click "Custom" and enter the width that you want. Lastly, click "Done" to apply the change.

vi. Click the "Save" button.

vii. Change the "Filename" and then click the "Save" button to save the photo.

viii.  Select a folder that you want to store your edited photo to, and then click the "Save" button.

ix.  A "green tick" showed that the save action done and then you can clikc "Cancel" to close to programme.

The photo has been re-sized from 664(H) x 1000(W) pixels to 263(H) x 396(W) pixels, and the file size has been changed from 1.9M to 305K. 

In order to reserve your file capacity of Mahara. For image insert into Powerpoint or ePortfolio, we recommend image size not bigger than 1024 x 796 pixel; for your profile picture image about 300 x 300 pixel is enough.
